TERMS OF USE — MEDPAL
MedPal (“the Application”) is a digital clinical support tool that provides informational outputs generated by artificial intelligence for educational and professional purposes. By downloading, installing, or using the Application, the user (“User”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If the User does not agree with these Terms, the User must immediately discontinue the use of the Application.
The Application is intended for licensed physicians, residents, medical students, and healthcare professionals who possess the necessary training and judgment to interpret the information generated by the Application. The User acknowledges that MedPal does not provide definitive diagnoses, mandatory treatment recommendations, clinical instructions, or medical advice intended to replace professional judgment or the practice of medicine.
MedPal grants the User a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for the personal and professional use of the Application. The User agrees not to distribute, reproduce, decompile, reverse-engineer, resell, or exploit the Application or its content for commercial purposes other than those expressly authorized.
The User remains solely responsible for clinical decisions, patient management, differential diagnosis, treatment selection, and all professional actions or omissions. MedPal shall not be liable for adverse outcomes, diagnostic errors, treatment errors, or any direct or indirect harm resulting from reliance on the Application. MedPal does not create a physician-patient relationship between the User and any third party, nor between the User and MedPal.
The User may voluntarily input medical or clinical information into the Application for processing. The User represents and warrants that such input complies with applicable privacy, confidentiality, and professional regulations in their jurisdiction. Additional privacy terms may apply through MedPal’s Privacy Policy.
All intellectual property rights associated with the Application — including software, design, visual assets, trademarks, documentation, and content — are owned by the developer and protected by applicable laws. No provision in these Terms shall be interpreted as transferring ownership rights to the User.
MedPal reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Application at any time without liability to the User. MedPal may also terminate or restrict access if the User violates these Terms or misuses the Application.
These Terms shall be governed and construed according to the laws of the jurisdiction chosen by the developer. Continued use of the Application after modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of such modifications.
